Reimagining Newsgathering

News is all about speed; at CNN, the key is getting what we shoot to air as fast as possible.  And the camera is just one component in the process. We’re really re-thinking how we decompose capabilities across each component in that workflow.  We view the larger workflow moving to the cloud, and our production services will be IP-based, with abstracted storage and processing. Technology will enable some pretty interesting new capabilities.
